August 1999 saw the completion of a new Food & Textiles room on the Borough Road site. Additional building was completed in January 2001 at the Waterleat Road site to provide a new Music, Dance and Drama facility.

A further £4.3 million building programme began in September 2002 providing extensive new buildings on both the Borough Road and Waterleat sites.

This phase of building was completed at Waterleat Road in October 2004 and includes a new library, classrooms and learning support facilities.

The College has recently been given significant additional funding to improve its sports facilities which will involve covering some outdoor tennis courts to make them an all weather facility. A further £1 million pounds has been given by the Football Foundation for a Third Generation All Weather Pitch.
