AO1 - Review Animations - OK THIS IS WHERE THE WORK STARTS!

You need to produce really well written evidence that you have reviewed at least two animations. One must be an animated GIF. The other should be a flash or shockwave animation.

You must check the assessment criteria for this. Give a thourough explanation of the good and not so good features for at least two animations. Suggest a range of valid improvements to help the animation meet it's aims. Identify the aim of the animation.

Describe the audience who the animation is targeted at.

Say that you are going to use frame by frame animation in Xara.

Design the animation using a storyboard.

Make sure you have... Thoroughly described the aim and audience for your animation. Make sure you have provided a storyboard covering all the elements of the animation. Make sure your design is well structured.

Your animation should be 30 seconds long but to get a pass just 15 seconds.

Your animation makes some use of basic graphic techniques. You will use frame by frame animation. You will also set frame rates. Your animation will be exported in a suitable format. (From Xara this could be Flash or .gif). Your animation must be appropriate and meet the identified aims.
