The aim of the football development centre will include;

• Growth and Retention – increasing the opportunity to play football with more clubs and players.

• Raise Standards and Promote Positive behaviour – launching a RESPECT campaign and gaining more Charter standard accredited clubs.

• To Develop better Players - supporting teachers, coaches and referees in their professional development in order to produce better players.

• To Run The Game Effectively – creating an environment that promotes equality to ensure equal access to football.

The Astro Turf Pitch will be open 7 days a week during and outside of school hours (8am - 9:30pm)

Over the course of 2010 the Astro Turf will be looking to hold a number of different events such as:

• Regular Coaching / Training Sessions
• School Competitions
• Local League Matches
• Disability Festivals
• 6/7 a side Central Venue Leagues
• County Competitions
• Coach Education
