She was Director of Human Resources from 2001 to 2009. Iris is Vice-Chair of Rowcroft Hospice and a Trustee of CVA Torbay. Iris has been a Governor since 2007 and was appointed Chair in September 2008. She is also a Trustee of Community and Voluntary Action - Torbay.Interests: Sailing, Golf, Running, Walking, Yoga and Reading. |

He has taught at Paignton Community & Sports College for 27 years in a variety of roles with responsibility. John was seconded as an Advisor to the Local Authority 2001 – 2005 and 2007 – 2009. John is the author of the Torbay RSE Secondary programme for Year 7 – 11. John is a nationally accredited teacher of SRE and holds a Diploma in PSHE.Interests: Gardening, Ornithology and Water based activities. |

She worked in the private sector, mainly for the John Lewis Partnership, and then taught in Further Education as Head of School delivering NVQ and BTEC Qualifications. She holds a Cert. The family settled in Devon in 1998. Carolyn has worked at Paignton Community & Sports College as a Librarian since 2003.Interests: Walking the dog, supporting sons at Cricket, Rugby and Surfing, Reading, Cookery and Entertaining. |

Two of her children have benefitted greatly from attending Paignton Community & Sports College. One is now at Birmingham University and another has a place to study the International Baccalaureate. Tracey worked as a Biomedical Scientist in the NHS for 10 years so has a particular interest in Science. |
