Enrichment Week
Following the huge success of Enrichment Week last year, we will be running another Enrichment Week on the week beginning the 4th July 2011.
My time funding is provided by Government and is allocated to schools. £100 is available for each student registered for Free School Meals and can be used to enable students to take part in out of school activities (including Activities Week 2011). There is also funding available for students who do not meet the Free School Meal criteria but are facing hardship. We would urge you to phone the college if you feel that this applies. For further information, contact your child’s pastoral manager or Head of Year

Keep an eye on this page to find the latest details of the activities on offer, the prices, and an on-line application form.
Activities last year included Trips to Alton Towers; Woodlands and Football Stadiums, as well as many activities including Deep Sea Fishing; Master Chef; Dry Slope Skiing; Ice Skating; and Rock School. As you would expect from a Sports College, there was plenty of sporting opportunities too.
It is intended that Enrichment Week for 2011 will be bigger and better than 2010. It is expected that there will be some special trips on offer. Keep checking this page as some activities may be advertised as early as November 2010!
All enquiries regarding Enrichment Week should be made to Mr Mark Williams, Assistant Principal.
