Aims |
The whole function of Paignton Community and Sports College is rooted in the Aims and Objectives of the College.
Schemes of work, procedures and routines, the College Development Plan and all other areas of activity, whether academic or social, reflect these aims.
They represent the cornerstone of what we believe to be important. The values expressed in the aims are not subject to change, but reflect our basic ideals.
AIMS OF PAIGNTON COMMUNITY AND SPORTS COLLEGE
Enable all members of the College to achieve their full potential by encouraging the highest possible standard of endeavour. Develop personal qualities and social skills in order that members of the College may respect both the needs of the individual and those of the whole community.
In recent years the College has achieved national recognition for the quality of the education it provides for its pupils, gaining a number of highly prestigious awards, most notably:
Investors in People The College was awarded the prestigious “Investors in People” award in January 2006 to reflect its high standard of staff development and training.
